• No foul language, mean teasing, or intentional rudeness will be tolerated.



• The three strikes rule will be put into effect. After three strikes, you’re out.



• Under Federal Law all participants under the age of 14 must have parental permission to play this game. Younger users are welcome, however we must receive an e mail from their parents' own e mail account.



• Sending chain letters or otherwise spamming members will not be tolerated. No sites are to be shared on this game without the approval of the president.



• Multiple accounts are strictly prohibited. All members caught in this form of cheating will be frozen and their horses will be destroyed.



• If you will be gone for more than a week at a time and you know before you leave, you must contact one of the staff members or otherwise notify staff that you will be absent.



• Only horses and ponies will be allowed in this game. No non-equine animals will be accepted. This includes, but is not limited to, imaginary creatures such as unicorns and Pegasus. We do not allow any animal that is born sterile. This includes mules, hinneys, zorses, etc.



• Inactive members go on probation. If you are the on probation list for more than 2 months, then your horses WILL be confiscated to the Arcadia Humane Association and your member name will be deleted from the system.

• You must have a real human name to play arcadia.



• Joining is automatic. Once you answer the questions correctly you will be allowed to login, join the forum, and begin playing the game.



• If your user name is inapropriate you will be contacted & a request will be made that you alter it to an acceptable name.



• When you join you will receive:$25,000, 0 Create-A-Horse Credits Ownership Limit of 10 horses
  
  
• ** Don't worry, as you advance levels you get more money and your first CAH Credits.

• Stables may only be earned by participating in Arcadian Idol.



• Only public boarding facilities can host Mini Barns.


There are three types of barns which may be opened.


• Private
  Open only to the owner's horses. Can NOT host mini barns. Are not open to rent out stalls at any time. This is the first kind of stable that you can open. Only after you open a private stable can you request to open a public stable. You must participate in Arcadian Idol to open this type of barn.



• Public Barn
  Open to boarding for the public. CAN host mini barns or simply rent stalls. This is at the discretion of the owner. You must participate in Arcadian Idol to open this type of barn.



• Mini Barn
  Must be part of a public boarding facility. Can NOT host boarders from other members at any time. May be opened by anyone providing they have a Public Barn to host them. Can be opened if hosted by any public barn.

All new members automatically become bronze level members. As you progress via post count you will move from one level to another. For full information see forum.

Age Divisions can help do divide up large shows and to determine what your horse is capable of. Use the following as a quick reference

Youth
Birth - 2nd Birthday
(Cannot be bred, may only be showed in youth events)

Beginner
2 - 3 year old horses
(Cannot Be bred, only showed.)

Intermediate
4 - 10 year old horses
(Can be bred OR showed)

Advanced
11-15 year old horses
(Can be bred OR showed)

Senior
16-25 year old horses
(Can be showed up to age 20. Can be bred up to age 25.)

Retired
+25 year old horses
(These horses are no longer active in the game. This means they are no longer in the possession of any person, cannot be shown, bred, and do not require upkeep. Arcadia will host a list of retired horses as the need approaches.)

Arcadia is run on real time. January 1 - December 1 constitutes 1 year.
All horses age at each sim year. Speed aging is not allowed. No exceptions.

Mares may be back bred. Current breedings include real time gestation.
Mares may not compete in strenuous events while in foal. If a mare is found to be showing inapropriately she may lose the foal.
Horses are born as weanlings and age ONE year each SIM year there after.
When you breed a horse it has to be a filly/colt. Foals cannot be born geldings. No exceptions.
Foal information is determined by a genetic calculator and gender randomizer.

Shows occur on the Arcadian forum and points are retained in our database. You must own a stable or rent facilities to host a show.

Members may not change their names within the same account. Any member cause doing this will be given a warning.

Barn names may change as you please. Simply Notify Viv and provide updated web pages if your stable is hosted on Arcadia.

Horse show names cannot be changed at this time.
