You must use a real human name to register on Arcadia. We require this as it lends to realism and professionalism in the game.
This means no numbers, spaces, special characters, etc.
You'll want to register with a real human first name like Abril, Brent, Caitlin, David, Ellie, Frank, etc. If you aren't sure what name you want to use, we suggest you look at BabyNames.com or BabyNamesWorld.ParentsConnect.com
If you can't bother to follow this rule, one of two things will happen: either your account will be deleted or we'll assign you a random real human name that we would like if we were joining. We used to give warnings - but 95% of people who aren't interested enough in the game to read and follow the first rule aren't worth having in the game.

Arcadia's foremost goal is that every member have the opportunity to learn and participate in a friendly and safe environment.
Every member has the right to enjoy themselves in an environment free from harassment, spam etc.
Any member imposing on these basic rights will suffer expulsion.
Arcadia uses Firefox. We build in it, we test in it, and since we're still adding amenities we do NOT test in Internet explorer or Google Chrome at this time. Eventually we'll get everything perfect for all browsers - but for now if you want to play and for Arcadia to load properly we suggest you download Firefox.

In accordance with United States Federal COPPA rules, participants must be 13 and above.
Members are required to be respectful of copyright laws, particularly with reference to photograph. Members may NEVER hot link photos and should always provide an appropriate citation and referral if available to photo owners. Arcadia is not responsible for your failure to abide.
Failure to comply will result in expulsion – you put Arcadia and yourself in danger when you don't abide by copyright laws.
